One Kitchen, Two Obsessions

Light's is part breakfast counter, part New York pizzeria — and it's been feeding downtown Elmira from a single kitchen on West 2nd Street ever since.

The garlic knots are the best. The spaghetti was delicious and had a good kid's size portion and a large adult size one.

My husband and I have enjoyed brunch here several times this year and everything has been fantastic. The service is always friendly and fast, prices good. The new creative menu options including the Oreo French toast, cinnamon swirl French toast, and other options have been 10/10. The bakery is still what I remember as a child, so the nostalgia factor is there too. Highly recommend!

I’ve loved going here since I was a kid. I like to get the sugar cookies with themed frosting. My family loves the half moon cookies. I’ve gone for breakfast a couple times and it’s been good both times. I like to get the sausage gravy and biscuits. The home fries are really good.
